A summarized June and July itinerary…

Phew! We just passed through the month of June still unbeaten!

We kick-started the month of June with an away fixture against FCB Nyasa Big Bullets where a lone goal by Chinsisi Maonga earned us maximum points at Kamuzu Stadium in Blantyre. This win was followed by a break as the Malawi National Council of Sports stopped all sporting activities in the country following the tragic passing of the then Vice President Hon. Dr. Saulos Klaus Chilima and eight others who were involved in a plane crash on 10 June this year.

Games resumed days later on and our next assignment was a return to Kamuzu Stadium where we played in a two-all draw against Mighty Tigers. We finished off the month of June with the Lilongwe Derby playing against Civil Service United where we came out 0-2 victors courtesy of goals from Innocent Shema and Charles Chipala.

The month of June also saw us adding Ziva Security Services as our partner. The security company will be awarding the best performers in our TNM Super League matches until the end of the season. Also, exciting news in June was the unveiling of Lulu and Malinga Mafia as our Brand Ambassadors.

Our Reserve side managed to choke two wins out of the two games they played in the 2024 Chipiku Central Region football league in June.

In June, both Silver Strikers Ladies and Youth have been grinding on the training field in readiness for their 2024 competitions scheduled to kick start in July.

Going forward in July, the Silver Strikers men’s side is expected to finalize the first round of the 2024 TNM Super League and as well kickstart the 2024 FDH Cup battle. The team will start the month of July with an away fixture in the FDH Cup round of 32 match against Blue Eagles FC on 7th July then return to the 2024 TNM Super League to face Kamuzu Barracks at Civo Stadium on 14 July before hosting Mzuzu City Hammers and FOMO Fc on 17th and 22nd July respectively. The team will then travel to Mzuzu Stadium on the 28th July to finalize the first phase of the top-flight league.

Ma Banker, welcome to an action-filled month of July!
