League leaders Silver Strikers FC on Wednesday unveiled My Gold as its second jersey sponsor to the tune of MK3 million.
My Gold becomes the second jersey sponsor in 2024 after BetWay Malawi earlier this year.
The agreement that will run until the end of the year will see a My Gold logo placed on the Silver Strikers Jersey sleeve.
Speaking after the agreement, My Gold Managing Director Daniel Devjiani said he was excited to partner with Silver Strikers as the move will help the company gain the much needed brand publicity.
“As My Gold we are a company that is well invested in creating connection that will help us grow therefore we feel that this partnership will help our brand connect with football lovers in general and Silver Strikers in particular. We are excited to make this partnership with a top club like Silver Strikers and we expect the club to continue doing well and we want to be part of the success story”, said Devjiani.
On behalf of the Central Bankers, the team’s Chief Executive Officer Patrick Chimimba said that Silver Strikers are excited to welcome My Gold into the fold as the company looks forward to getting more partners on board as one way of making the commercialization dream a reality.
“We are excited to partner with My Gold and deeply appreciate the significant impact this collaboration will have as we work together to achieve greatness and set new benchmarks in football development. This is a positive step forward as we strive to become a fully functioning team that attracts investors and makes progress in all areas of the game.”, said Chimimba.
Silver Strikers is currently top of the table with 40 points from 16 games played.
