Central Bankers to face Blue Eagles in FDH CUP

Silver Strikers will kick start the 2024 FDH Cup campaign with a clash against fellow Lilongwe based outfit Blue Eagles FC in the Round of 32.

According to the draw, if the Bankers progress, they will face the winner between Santhe Admarc or Simbi FC in the round of 16.

Blue Eagles qualified to the national phase after winning 1-2 against Ekas Freight Wanderers on Saturday.

Currently, the Area 30 side is playing in the Central Region Chipiku Football League after being relegated from the top flight league last season.

While on the other end, the Area 47 outfit last won the FDH Cup in 2021.

Silver Strikers left the 2023 FDH Cup quarterfinal stage in the round of 32 after losing out in post match penalties against Moyale Barracks in Mzuzu.
