Eight Silver Strikers players are part of the 29 member squad Malawi National Football Team Head Coach Patrick Mabedi has called into camp ahead of the 2025 African Cup of Nations Qualifiers against Burundi and Burkina Faso.
The Flames will host Burundi at Bingu National Stadium before playing away to Burkina Faso in Mali five days later.
The eight players called for duty are goalkeeper George Chikooka, a defense trio of Maxwell Paipi, McDonald Lameck and Nickson Mwase.
In midfield, coach Mabedi has included Patrick Macheso, Uchizi Vunga, Chikondi Kamanga and Chimwemwe Idana to his squad.
The Flames are set to start camp on Sunday 1st September 2024.
