FDH Bank sets build-up for FCB Nyasa Big Bullets, Blue Eagles ‘Pachema’ final

Sponsors, FDH Bank plc have set the tone for Sunday’s ‘Pachema’ FDH Bank Cup final between holders FCB Nyasa Big Bullets and Blue Eagles after announcing that they will give away 2,000 tickets to fans.

Bullets will be itching to defend the cup for the third successive time when they take on Eagles at Bingu National Stadium in Lilongwe.

CHIMCHERE—We are giving away 2,000 tickets

FDH Bank Senior Marketing Manager Ronald Chimchere said they wanted to give back to their clients and football community for supporting the cup.

“We are giving away 2,000 tickets to our customers and football fans within Lilongwe as a token of appreciation to the business they give us and making FDH Bank Cup a success. The tickets will be available through our branches in the Central Region when a customer conducts any transaction. We will conduct activations in different areas within Lilongwe such as Kawale and Area 23,” Chimchere said.

He said this year’s race has been intriguing and every stakeholder was looking forward to who would win the K35 million prize money.

“The bank is very happy with the overall FDH Bank Cup 2024 season having witnessed healthy competition between clubs, violence-free matches.

“Another lower division team, Blue Eagles are in the final, shows how our investment into lower league teams is bearing fruits and overall drives the growth of football in Malawi. Bullets as the defending champions have shown resilience and we will see if they will win it for the third consecutive year,” Chimchere said.

He said the final will be spiced up by Black Missionaries music performances Sunday morning.

“So we are calling upon football lovers to come enjoy this moment,” he said.

Meanwhile, Bullets acting Chief Executive Officer Albert Chigoga hailed FDH Bank for spicing up the finale.

“That is great motivation to football fans. As clubs we are assured of 2,000 tickets already sold which is a great thing,” Chigoga said.
