Insurance broker Hubertus Clausius Malawi Limited has registered a 60 percent growth in business after partnering crowd pullers FCB Nyasa Big Bullets in the player of the month awards.
Speaking during the presentation of awards to three top performing players at Bullets head office, Ginnery Corner, Blantyre, Thursday, Hubertus Head of Operations Gracium Dimba said the partnership has proved to be profitable to their business.
“In 2020, we operated below 50 percent but four years down the line, we have registered over 60 percent growth in terms of customer base. We are therefore very happy and excited with our involvement with Bullets, the biggest team in Malawi,” he said.
The presentation ceremony saw striker Babatunde Adepoju being rewarded for playing well in July while honours for August went to defender Nixon Nyasulu.
Goalkeeper Richard Chimbamba was also recognised for his performances in September.
Nyasulu hailed the sponsorship and described it as a big motivation to the players.
“This awards ceremony has come at the right time when we are playing against Civil [Service United] in a reverse fixture of the Airtel Top 8. As players, we will do our best to reward our fans with a win and make them happy,” he said.
The three players received K300,000 each.
