Midfielder Levison Maganizo has on Thursday completed his move to mark a return to Area 47.
Joining him on his way to Area 47 is Nigerian forward Friday Oriafo Osagie who was previously of Bangwe All Stars.
Maganizo who played for Kamuzu Barracks last year has penned a five-months deal with the club as a free agent. Before joining the Chiwoko-based Soldiers, Maganizo played for Silver Strikers from 2016 to 2022. During that spell he won the Airtel Top 8 twice (2017 & 2019) and the 2021 FDH Cup.
The former Bangwe All Stars forward joins the club on a two-year contract.
Osagie joined Bangwe All-Stars in 2022 and was part of the promotion process into the top-flight league for the Blantyre-based outfit.
Speaking after putting pen to paper, Osagie said he was thrilled to join Silver Strikers and is looking forward to returning the trust that the team has put into him.
“I am thrilled to join Silver Strikers today and this is a dream come true for me to play in a team like Silver Strikers. I pledge that I will do my best to return the trust that the club has shown by getting my services,” said Osagie.
Both Maganizo and Osagie will feature for Silver Strikers at the start of the second round of the 2024 TNM Super League after Super League of Malawi announced the opening of the mid-season transfer window.
